Founded in 2009, Dormtainment is a multi-talented sketch comedy group that takes storytelling to another level. Six college friends turned content creating gurus invite fans into their personal lives with their skits, comedy albums, and more. From idea to execution, every aspect of their original productions are created and produced in-house by Chaz Miller, Cameron Miller, Amanuel Richards, Stevie (Rome) Green, Michael Anthony and Daunte (Tay) Dier.
Their mutual passion for making people laugh has attracted a loyal following of almost 1 million Youtube Subscribers, over 144 million views, and an average of over 1 million Youtube page views a month.
Dormtainment releases sketches Bi weekly via their website and YouTube page. They also entertain thousands across the U.S. with their sidesplitting hilarious live performances at various colleges.
Many of Dormtainmentʻs comedy skits have gone viral with over 12 million views, such as: “Dating a Jamaican,” “I Hate Being Short,” “INSTAgram Fitness” and “Black People Meet (Parody).” Dozens of their photos and videos have also become popular memes shared across different social media platforms. Dormtainmentʻs comedy album, Broke and Famous hit #1 on the iTunes Comedy Chart and was a #1 Billboard Charting Comedy Album in 2013. Along with their second album “Broke and Famous 2”. Some of the fan favorite original music videos include, “A** on the Internet”, “Ballin Onʻa Budget” and “Thumb Thuggin.”
Dormtainmentʻs hard work paid off when they caught the attention of Comedy Central, who ordered a digital miniseries, “Six Guys One Car,” which debuted in October 2014. “Six Guys One Car” is the most successful digital launch in Comedy Central history and was picked up for Season 2, which premiered November 9th, 2015. The huge success of “Six Guys One Car,” coupled with the well written and infectiously hilarious content garnered Dormtainment a 2015 Streamy Awards nomination for “Ensemble Cast.”
Dormtainment has been featured on a variety of television shows, such as NBCʻs “Today Show,” TruTVʻs “Top 20 Most Shocking Pranks,” and FOX 5 News Atlantaʻs “Good Day Atlanta.” They have also been featured by a variety of media outlets, such as Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, MTV, Uptown Magazine, Jet, VIBE, and The Daily Dot. With their new home base in Los Angeles and with the guidance of talent agents at The Gersh Agency and management at Underground Management.
